This one-hour walking tour begins with a brief focus on the Thomas Jefferson Building and continues into the “Creating the United States” exhibition to learn how the nation’s founding documents were forged out of insight, invention, and creativity, as well as collaboration and compromise.

The Thomas Jefferson Building is located on First Street SE, between Independence Avenue and East Capitol Street. Check in 15 minutes before the tour at the Ground Floor Information Desk.
